One of the most impressive things I've ever seen in my life is Cirque du Soleil. Everything they do has to be timed perfectly down to the second on top of the fact that the performers can move and flip and turn in ways that most people can only dream about.
I went to see Dralion yesterday and it was incredible. It was my second Cirque du Soliel show and I loved it. There is absolutely nothing like it. With some of the acts it seemed like the laws of physics, such as gravity, didn't apply. The way the acrobats moved through the air it seemed like the people on stage were weightless.
The whole thing about Cirque du Soleil is that it feels so otherworldly. The music, the lighting, the fact that these people are doing things you wouldn't expect anybody to be able to do. Apart from the typical requests at the beginning of the show not one word of English is heard, the singing is all in a different language (or languages, I wasn't really focusing on that very closely). It's so far from the everyday, so mystical. It just draws you in.
And yes, Kenz, the tech was very important (not that I ever said it wasn't). I mean, without the proper lighting and the music it just wouldn't be the same.

Respect the techies. It wouldn't be the same with out light and sound, but we also do costumes, makeup, stage. With out us there would be no wires for the aerial moves. With out us there is no show, just people that can do amazing things, but no preformance
