It's that time of year again! Yay for fake enthusiasm about it!
Ok, so school isn't my favorite thing. Getting up early, hour long bus rides, homework, projects, etc. But it hasn't been terrible this year. My classes are pretty good, and so are my teachers. For the most part anyways. There are some classes I might not like too much.
Plus there are upsides to school. I get to see my friends everyday. Well, I get to see some of my friends everyday. And, me being the dork I am, I like to learn. Plus, I get bored sitting at home with nothing to do.
So the school year has ups and downs. I'll try and keep updating the blog as much as I can, if anybody cares, but with all the homework I'll be getting, I can't make any promises. And good luck to all the other students out there.

Sleep...
Okay, sleep is a very good thing. We all need sleep, and when we get enough sleep everybody is much happier and gets along better with everybody else.
Of course, being a teenager, I am very much an insomniac. Falling asleep is not an easy thing to do. Some people can fall asleep anywhere, but I'm not one of them.
Schools always tell us the importance of a good night's sleep. Then they pile on the homework. If they expect the work to be done, that means we can't sleep. They can't have it both ways.
And I hate when you're tired but not sleepy. It's annoying. If I'm tired, I want to sleep. That way I won't be tired anymore. And it's not like I'm wanting to really do anything when I'm tired, so it's better for me to be able to sleep.
In general, I'm much easier to get along with when I have enough sleep. We'll see how well this goes when school starts and I'm up doing homework and then getting up to catch the bus the next morning.

Time Warp
Lately me and my friend have been talking about what we'd do if we had a time machine. Well, first we talked about how we'd build one, and our plan included capturing Spock with a giant butterfly net and get him to help us.
Anyways, we decided on going to most of the 1900's, the Renaissance, ancient Greece and Rome, some very awesome concerts and other places.
I've always been interested in the thought of time travel. I mean, getting to see things that have already happened, that are done and over with. That'd be really amazing to me. Getting to see history happen. Even if you're living through history in the present, you can't always know it at the time. And there are definitely some things that are worth reliving.
Of course, time travellers can't interfere with there own personal time lines, they could, I don't know, rip a hole in the fabric of reality. And it might be a good idea to stay away from the future, just in case.
Still, time travel would be incredible. But for now it's not happening. Oh well, another impossible thing to dream about.

Yo!
So I just felt like posting today. So...I guess I'll talk a little bit about myself since I don't know what else to say.
Right, so I like to read a lot. I like mysteries. Agatha Christie is one of my favorite authors, she always has good stories. I like "Shadow of the Wind" and the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. I like so much more, but I'll limit myself because it's a long list. And I'm always looking for good books to read (though right now my reading list is fairly long). And I very much like to write too.
In terms of T.V. shows, I like quite a bit. I like the shows Doctor Who, NCIS, Castle, West Wing (though that one's a bit hard to find) and Law and Order (mainly SVU). Those are my top picks.
I like to hang out with my friends. Well I guess that's fairly obvious otherwise I wouldn't be friends with them. We've had a lot of fun and interesting times over the years. They're why I can survive school.
I do however like to learn, and I do like a challenge. My best subjects are in the liberal arts field. I like languages a lot.
And that's a bit about me and what I like. And now I've satisfied my need to post.

Crush
Okay, I'll admit I am a very strange teenage girl. One of the reasons why: I've never had a crush. Ever. On anybody.
I've never felt attracted to anybody that way. I just haven't. There have been boys I think are cute, but that's it. I'm actually pretty okay with this. I mean, I don't really want to start dating. Crushes are pointless, and they basically never last.
I want to fall in love someday, but I can do that later and without the typical phase of being obsessed over boys. This will probably wind up saving me a lot of pain and rejection. And I won't fall for somebody just because they're cute.
Also, I never got the celebrity crush thing. You're never going to meet the celebrity you have a crush on, usually. And, almost always, they're so much older than you. Again, pointless and somewhat idiotic in my opinion, no matter how hot the celebrity in question is.
All in all, crushes in my opinion are a waste of time. You may not be able to help who you like, but I still think that if you're going to fall for somebody it should be somebody you can and will want to be with for a while. You shouldn't obsess over somebody you just think is cute. But hey, maybe that's just me. Like I said, I'm a weird teenager.

Feedback
So, I get that I have very few readers. But for anybody out there reading this, I want to know what you think. I know my blog can be boring, and I know I don't update often. But I want to know what you guys would like me to write about, and I want to know what you think about what I've written. Feel free to tell me what you don't like, but please make it constructive so I know what to improve on. Tell me what you think, because I do want to hear from anybody reading this.

Story Time!
Well, not quite.
I've started watching the T.V. show Castle recently, and one night I had a random thought. What if me and my sister were cops? What would we be like as partners? I should try making my own detective story.
So I started one. It's gotten off to an okay start. Once I get some more written (and edited to some degree by my sister and friends) I'll put it up here a little bit at a time. But for the moment, I don't have much actually written. So you'll just have to be patient. I promise to get it up though.
I'm pretty sure you guys will like it a lot more than my blog entries. At least, I hope you like it.
Bye for now,
Callie
