Some of my mom's family came in last night. Now, for some people, it's not a big deal to have aunts and uncles and cousins over. But this is my mom's family. Things tend to fall apart rather quickly when you put them all in one place for an extended period of time.Not to mention a lot of my relatives can be kind of weird and my sister and I are by far the youngest in the family, so it's a bit awkward.
Things held up well, though. No arguments, not too much awkwardness and I got my dad's BBQ out of it. Well, okay, the fudge my sister made didn't hold up so well, it was more like caramel, but she's learning how to make it. Other than that though it went smoother than expected.
My aunt stayed the night, though. She and my mom stayed up late talking and I think they got into an argument, because my mom was in a pretty bad mood this morning. Her sister annoys her a lot. I hope it doesn't get that bad between me and my siblings because if one night is enough for them to get on each others nerves that's a really bad sign.
Well, back to relaxing on my spring break. I'll write more later.
