Happy holidays to everyone! No matter what you celebrate that magical winter feeling is in the air, and with it the sound of commercials. I mean, turn on the T.V. and you get jingles to the tune of Christmas carols. Anyone looking for a place to shop for presents? Plenty of sales going on for cars, clothes (1 day sales, 12 hour sales, you name it) and, of course toys. I think the holidays should definately not be about getting great gifts, crazy sales and just flat out commercialising everything about the season.
Also, why is it always Merry Christmas you hear on T.V.? I personally celebrate Christmas, but I realise their are plenty of others who don't. I don't see anything wrong with "Happy Holidays" so everyone would feel more included. I guess I shouldn't speak for everyone, I just feel if you don't know your audience celebrates Christmas you shouldn't tell them all to enjoy that particular holiday.
Regardless, I hope everyone is enjoying this wounderful time of year. Because no matter what, it is a time to celebrate and be happy. Callie
